When pressure is applied on the hose, it tends to elongate and expand. The design of the hose being corrugated. Keeping in mind the flexibility we provide a layer of braiding on the hose. The braiding is not necessarily just one layer, it can be more too depending on the pressure.

To restrain the elongation of SS Bellow, the external stainless steel wire braiding is provided. It increase the ability of the hose to take pressure and yet maintain its flexibility to an extent. Usually the braiding provided is of grade SS 304, we can though provide special braiding on request.

The more layers of braiding is applied, more pressure the hose can withstand the pressure but there will be a subsequent loss in flexibility.
